We were doing the usual Christmas window shop, looking at all the festive cheer, when we came across a display of cardboard reindeer. I thought that was neat idea and easily replicated.
I like these because they're flatpack and can be easily stored after the festive season ends.
I've got two Reindeer templates to choose from.
You will need:
- Cardboard
- Wrapping paper
- PVA glue
- Craft knife
*TIP* Wait for the PVA to go tacky before covering with paper, this should stop the glue from seeping into the paper.
* TIP* Sometimes glued card and paper can curve or bend when drying, place each piece between a couple of heavy books to prevent this. They won't dry completely you'll need to air the pieces a little but they should stay relatively flat.
Cover both sides of each reindeer piece. Wait for one side to dry before gluing the other.
