DIY Easter Basket Ball
I saw this last year and thought it was really cool. I didn't get around to giving this a go last year, so I'm doing it this year :)
You Will Need:
- Balloons
- Mini chocolate eggs (preferably covered)
- PVA glue
Method
Its difficult getting those little suckers in there. I only managed three.
Once filled to your likeing, blowup the balloon.
- If at all possible use a balloon pump. Nobody likes it when someone breaths all over their food. This is the nightmare version of that!
I have used a variety of pink wools.
Fill a container with PVA and dip in the wool/twine, running between fingers to remove excess glue.
Wrap around inflated balloon. Adding layers until you are satisfied
Leave to dry.
Lets go on an Easter egg hunt :)
I think I will try to make these again, but instead of using chocolate eggs I'll swap them out for something cat friendly. Maybe large bells or pom-poms.
