I could really make my day exciting by making twelve chrysanthemum.
What You Need
- Pipe cleaner
- Florist tape
- Beading thread and jewels
Method
- Widen or shorten width to make a larger or smaller flower
These are favourite artificial tissue paper flowers to make. There is something particularly pleasing in the multitude of splayed and bristling petals. This is a flower that works in every colour. Its a nice word too, full of letters that don't usually find themselves together. One of my top favourite words is twelve, which is essentially T, W, L, and V all strung together on a thread of E's. How fun! I could really make my day exciting by making twelve chrysanthemum. What You Need- Tissue paper - Pipe cleaner - Florist tape - Beading thread and jewels MethodThread a bead onto beading wire and tape to a pipe cleaner using florist tape. Cut two strips of tissue paper 10cm wide. Fold like a fan. - Widen or shorten width to make a larger or smaller flower Cut thin petals into folded tissue paper about 3/4 of a ways down. Don't cut folded edges. Open up folded and cut tissue strips. Wrap one around pipe cleaner stem, securing with tape, then wrap round the second.
